Program Description
Transfer from hotels to Mombasa. The tour begins in the heart of Mombasa city, where you can admire the iconic elephant tusks - monumental structures that symbolize Mombasa. The tour starts from the old town of Mombasa. Free time or optional visit to Fort Jesus, which was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese. Walk through the narrow streets and a chance to see historic mosques and historic buildings from the Middle Ages. Then drive towards the Old Port, where there is a local bazaar and market, and traditional dhow boats have their harbor. Then drive to Moi Avenue to the Akamba Woodcarvers Factory, a center for handicrafts, where you can see carvers at work. Return to hotels.
